At Dhahabu Consulting, we believe that real leadership is measured not just by the structures we build, but by how we uplift the people around us. That’s why we’re proud to announce our ongoing partnership with the Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA), through which we are supporting 20 aspiring students in the construction and engineering fields.
Who Is CETA and What Do They Do?
CETA is a national authority dedicated to building skills and creating career pathways within South Africa’s construction industry. As one of the SETAs (Sector Education and Training Authorities), CETA plays a critical role in funding and facilitating skills development programmes, apprenticeships, and learnerships aimed at preparing individuals for long-term careers in construction.
Their work directly addresses the country’s unemployment and skills gap by equipping young people, especially from disadvantaged backgrounds, with technical training and accredited qualifications.
Why Dhahabu Consulting Partnered with CETA
For us at Dhahabu Consulting, this partnership is far more than a corporate initiative it’s a reflection of our values in action. “Care” is one of our founding principles, and to us, that means supporting communities, empowering individuals, and helping to level the playing field for those who have historically been left behind.
We believe that every young person deserves a fair chance and through our partnership with CETA, we are helping 20 candidates access that opportunity.
Our Motivation: A Shared Responsibility
In a country where youth unemployment is high and access to quality education remains unequal, we believe it’s the responsibility of companies like ours to be part of the solution.
This partnership is our response to that challenge a way of showing that we care not just in words, but in action. These 20 students represent hope, resilience, and the next wave of excellence in engineering and construction. And we’re honoured to walk alongside them on their journey.
Final Thoughts
Through this collaboration with CETA, Dhahabu Consulting is taking a bold step toward a more inclusive and skilled future for South Africa’s built environment. We are deeply committed to investing in people, supporting transformation, and leading with care.
To the 20 students supported through this programme: we believe in you. Your success is our shared mission and our shared future.
